Kiko Takase

Born in 1998 in Kobe, Japan, Kiko Takase is an emerging violinist known for her expressive artistry and international presence. Her early musical journey took root in Shanghai under the guidance of George Maxman, a student of David Oistrakh, and later continued in Kobe with Mauro Iurato. Since 2017, she has been based in Vienna, studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw), where she draws inspiration from Michael Frischenschlager.

Kiko performs across Europe and Japan as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. Highlights include her solo debut at the Hyogo Performing Arts Center, a solo appearance with the Nara Philharmonic Orchestra, and recent performances with the Oradea Philharmonic Orchestra. She has played at prestigious venues such as the Musikverein in Vienna, Philharmonie de Paris, and the Berlin Philharmonie.

She has received numerous accolades, including first prizes at the "Vienna Grand Prize Virtuoso" and the "Città di Alessandria" competitions. Her orchestral experience includes leading roles in the European Youth Orchestra Ferruccio Busoni and the Youth Orchestra of the Musikfestival Zell am See.
